It is widely known that this year has been a disaster at Warner Bros. Discovery, as with the arrival of the company’s new CEO, decisions have reached the point where projects such as series and films will be cancelled. And while HBO Max is home to many of its franchises, it appears they’re also in talks with Amazon to bring their characters to Prime Video. Here’s what Warner Bros. TV CEO Channing Dungy had to say: HBO Max will actually be our first stop, but we’re already in the process of closing a big deal with Amazon that will include some of our DC-branded content, including animation from Batman: The Caped Crusader. Additions may include, a project that was canceled that will now find its home at Amazon. It could add more DC franchises like Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League or some unknown characters from the brand. However, nothing specific has been mentioned for now. It’s worth noting, now that James Gunn is at the helm of DC movies, the evolution may be on the rise. Enough to compete neck-to-neck with its arch-rival Marvel. Via: The Verge Editor’s Note: This kind of collaboration is common these days. Hopefully the canceled series can be saved so that the artists behind them don’t stagnate.
