Google Pixel 6 has received a new mini update

Google is now rolling out a small update for the Pixel 6 series of smartphones. It is now rolling out to users.

A few days ago, Google announced that its own Pixel series of smartphones will be delivered with the August update later. For some devices this should be a very small update with only a single bug fix. This small update is now rolling out to devices, as the first recipients have been reporting since Monday evening

The Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a are getting very minor updates

The update is really small and probably weighs less than two megabytes. Included is only a GPS fix. So you can easily perform the download on the mobile Internet with a tariff that does not include a large data volume. The system should actually contact you automatically, but you can also request updates.

To request an update on Google Pixel: If new updates are officially available, they can be downloaded “immediately”. To do this, open the “System” area in the settings, then press the “System Update” and then the “Check for Updates” button.
