Well, it may not be as significant to you or me as it seems to Instagram. But recently, in some Instagram elements, you noticed a Slight change in its presentation.
Big change, isn’t it?
Whether you like it or not, it’s a part of it Extensive brand refresh at IGWhich includes a range of elements updates, including its default font, layout and other design aspects.
Explained by Instagram:
“Today, we are bringing new strength and purpose to our brand colors, typeface, logo and other brand elements including a refreshed visual identity. Our new system is designed to embrace continuous evolution to help create a more immersive and inclusive experience for our community.“
I always find such descriptions a little nauseous, especially since I have to lean closer to my monitor to try certain changes.
But if you are into design elements, this is obviously significant, and Instagram has provided a Complete overview Updating its style in line with various attempts to refresh its branding and its larger changes.

So what, specifically, has been updated?
Mentioned, Instagram Gradient (logo background) ‘re-imagined with vibrant colors to feel illuminated and alive’. The new format also hints at a ‘moment of discovery’.
Again, I don’t see it personally, but the changing background colors are now fundamentally different.
Instagram has also rolled out a new one Typeface, also known as “Instagram Suns”, is designed keeping in mind the platform’s tradition.

So there it is – although it’s worth noting that this new typeface was also designed to improve accessibility.
“We’ve partnered with language experts around the world to adapt the typeface to scripts around the world, including Arabic, Thai and Japanese. We want to support all of our creators and community members who take culture forward to fully express themselves in any language.“
This is the most important, practical application for this update.
Finally, Instagram has introduced a new layout and design system for its promotion that will keep content front and center.

See, after all, it probably won’t make a huge difference to regular users, but it will help make Instagram a more universal experience and reach people in different regions.
In that case, it’s a good update, whether you or I feel it. ‘New energy and purpose ‘brand logo or not.
In short, Instagram’s visual style will look a little different, which will be better for reaching users in different markets. But in practice, nothing will change in the app.
