For 2024 there will be the Gram Pro 16 and 17 as well as the LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 (more on that later). The Gram Pro 16 is available with a standard wide Quad or OLED display, as well as a 2-in-1 device. The 2-in-1 device can be used as a laptop and tablet and features a 360-degree touchscreen adjustable hinge and a rechargeable wireless stylus.
All of them come with NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card and an FHD webcam with facial recognition. Just like the LG Gram, the LG Gram Pro models give you a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 or Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. In the Pro series, the processors have an Intel AI Boost NPU to accelerate AI tasks processed locally on the device.
The standard LG Gram series is available in four different screen sizes (14, 15, 16 and 17 inches) and includes an Intel Core Ultra processor. They all have built-in high-resolution cameras, making the small cameras especially useful for those impromptu zoom calls on business trips. But even the largest weighs less than the lightest pair of dumbbells—the complete set weighs between 2.42 and 2.98 pounds. The larger of the two displays has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 – making it better for watching videos, reading extensively online or editing photos.
All new LG Gram models include the LG Gram Link app, which the company says enables file sharing, photo transfer and screen mirroring between your computer and an Android or iOS device. The app uses artificial intelligence to categorize your photos and makes it easy to search for photos based on keywords.
