OnePlus is currently in smartphone mode and is releasing devices one after the other. Most recently it was the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite and Nord 2T 5G, now the OnePlus 10T is followed by another performance upgrade. But how does the smartphone compare to the OnePlus 10 Pro?
In terms of design, OnePlus is actually very much based on the OnePlus 10 Pro. The front of the new station wagon features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, with an adaptive refresh rate. 120 Hz max offer. The FullHD+ display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. A 16-megapixel front camera sits in a circular punch hole, which can be seen on the top left.
Simple T-Model: Pure Performance
Find out the latest under the hood Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Seats which are 8, 12 or access Even 16 GB LPDDR5 have memories Internal flash memory is either 128 or 256 GB. Memory expansion is not possible via microSD card, but dual SIM is supported. In addition to WiFi 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3, the latest 5G mobile communication standards are definitely supported.

In the past, OnePlus’ T variants stood for particularly powerful smartphones. With the new 10T, this becomes quite evident not only with the built-in SoC, but also with the battery. Here, OnePlus installs a dual-cell battery sized 4.800 mAh. This is loaded with Up to 150 watts, like the Realme GT Neo 3 (BBK says hello 😉). This means: under optimal conditions, the battery is fully charged again within 20 minutes
Small design compromises
In order to be able to bring the price down a bit, OnePlus 10T has also opted for the mix Glass back and plastic frame decided on a combination that would otherwise be more likely to be found in the entry-level or mid-range segment – for example in the company’s own Nord series. Although plastic can also be very strong, this choice of material is somewhat unusual for the price range.
A strong downgrade, however, is Missing alert slider, which – at least in Android territory – is almost iconic for OnePlus smartphones. With this, the smartphone can be quickly set to mute, vibrate or volume without activating the display. However, OnePlus has informed us that this change will not be permanent and upcoming smartphones will have the alert slider again.
Camera: Almost same as Nord 2(T).
While the rear design is very reminiscent of the recently launched OnePlus 10 Pro, the camera is completely different. The first thing that stands out is that The letters “Hasselblad” are omitted. It already suggests that there won’t be any Hasselblad filters or other Hasselblad changes in the camera app.

OnePlus also uses three new sensors for the 10T: a 50 megapixel main camera (Sony IMX766), an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera. While the main camera will probably deliver pretty good results (Oppo Find X5 Pro or Asus ROG Phone 6, among others, also have the sensor installed), you shouldn’t expect too much quality from the ultra-wide-angle and macro cameras.
Although OnePlus is still today OxygenOS 13 Launched, the OnePlus 10T will initially ship with Android 12 and OxygenOS 12.1. The update to OxygenOS 13 should be delivered in a few weeks. We are excited to see what innovations the user interface will bring to smartphones.
