After dropping $400-$500 on a PlayStation 5 console, you’ll find your coffers empty pretty quickly after realizing that a PS5 video game can cost upwards of $69.99 each. Thankfully, like all video games, PS5 games will eventually drop in price no matter how good the games are. Games listed here very Well and now they are the cheapest PS5 games out there.
The games listed below are PlayStation exclusive video games With the exception of Horizon Forbidden West, they’re also PS5-exclusive titles, meaning they’ve been built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5’s graphics power without making compromises to make it backward-compatible with older consoles.
The horizon forbids the west
IGN Editorial Pick 9/10
A brilliant mix of immersive combat, premium creatures, character designs and an immersive open world, Horizon Forbidden West is an absolute banger and an incredible display of the PS5’s power. While the return of a pair of familiar chain cloaks and a perceived lack of free climbing doesn’t threaten to spoil the fun, it falls disappointingly short of anything revolutionary. However, major evolutionary steps have been taken in the right direction, and there are undoubtedly many, many hours of fun to be had with Aloy, who claims to be one of the greatest characters of this generation. Guerrilla has once again outdone itself with Outlaw West, and there’s no horizon and no sky for what’s next down the road.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
IGN Editorial Pick 9/10
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is amazing. This not only gives the latest generation of consoles a game that looks as good as the advanced technology promises, but also offers a great gaming experience. Insomniac has gone into the Ratchet and Clank complex too many times, but Rivet and the other new characters bring so much charm, wit and heart to a franchise I’ve loved for most of my life. It combines the best gameplay, sound design and stunning art of the series across the board. Rift Apart may not be the biggest adventure, but its big heart, ferocious weapons, and incredible details make it one of the most memorable yet.
Demonic Souls
IGN Editorial Pick 9/10
The BluePoint team had the unexpected task of remaking an 11-year-old game with a cult following and letting it be seen – and played – as it became the first game built from the ground up for this current generation of consoles. And that’s exactly what they do. Demon’s Souls is stunningly good and plays much better than it did on PS3, thanks not only to the PlayStation 5 ’s graphics power, but also clever quality-of-life tweaks and little touches that update some of the disappointing aspects of the original. The game features uncompromising challenge, wonderful boss fights, and style that made it such a great game in the first place.
return
IGN 8/10
The flashbacks are great, with an impressive array of weapons each possessing a variety of interesting potential attributes, purposeful strategic choices that can either keep a run afloat or sink, and a tough but rewarding challenge. Songplay is always exciting. Despite so much focus on action, he never drops the ball on the story. The big problem is that it takes too long and there’s no way to save progress other than putting the PS5 to sleep. This reduces the urge to immediately go back and try again after failure, although not enough to stop it. Regardless, Returnal is a great roguelike and one of the best Housemark games ever.
