On November 7, 2023, PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is gearing up to celebrate the holiday season in its festive version 2.9 update. From November 7, 2023 to January 7, 2024, players can compete in Snowy Village, a themed area with new ways to move around and take down enemies, as well as other surprises to get in the festive mood. Metro Royale Chapter 17 is also coming, and World of Wonder is getting new items and improvements, including a new snowy template.
In the version 2.9 update, Snowy Village invites PUBG MOBILE fans to the ultimate festive showdown! Players can battle in a two-story ice sculpture plaza and traverse the map in exciting new ways – from snow rails to snowboards. If the battlefield still doesn’t seem cool enough, snowball blasters are also available with exciting effects. Shooting at enemies turns them into snowmen! They can be thrown on the ground to create snow cover or on water to freeze ice.
Other snowmen can also be found in Snowy Village. Players can meet a lucky snowman with three snow gnomes hiding near him. After a snow gnome is found, it follows the player like a pet, allowing them to return it to the lucky snowman. Finding and returning all snow gnomes rewards players with a chest! Version 2.9 update brings even more rewards to Lucky Eyes. Players must find the most efficient way to break through its icy shell to get the prize inside.
With the Frost Festival on the horizon, reindeer will also spawn on the map! This cheerful vehicle allows two players to drive across the battlefield together and spread the joy. Cards will also be decorated for the season with trees full of gifts and stockings full of supplies.
The version 2.9 update also brings various gameplay improvements, including new additions to the World of Wonder Creative mode with expanded PvE options, new editor improvements, and a new snowy map template and Frost Festival items. Additionally, new ‘catch me’ gameplay template updates will be added, along with improvements to the skill management device, introducing skills related to transformation gameplay.
The new Royale Pass Ace will be available from November 14, 2023 to January 13, 2024. Players can complete RP missions to increase their rank and receive rewards such as new custom colored clothing, snowmobiles and reindeer skins, and more.
