Samsung Galaxy S24: Big update will improve camera and performance straight from market launch

While the hardware is ready and matches the devices customers can already pre-order, the software still needs improvement. A big day one update is already planned.

A colleague of ours, who is well-connected and also considered a leaker, has managed to reveal some explosive information about the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung is planning a major update for the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra on January 24, 2024. It will bring improvements in performance and camera functions. Details are still pending.

It’s not unusual for market launches to coincide very closely with the end of devices. And some bugs or improvements can only be seen when significantly more devices are in circulation, which is rarely achievable with internal testing frameworks.
