Samsung has overcome tough times and is back on track with the Galaxy S series.
Samsung didn’t really change much with the new Galaxy S24 series, and there were especially few changes with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. For smaller models, going back to Exynos processors was actually a negative point. Nevertheless, the current top models are very good and sell better than their predecessors.
This could be due to Galaxy AI, as the Galaxy S24 series has comprehensive AI software on board for the first time. In my opinion, Samsung has done a lot right in this regard, and so far no one has been able to top the AI package it offers.
According to the latest press release, where Samsung also mentions the upcoming Galaxy S25 for the first time, the 2024 generation achieved “double-digit growth in both shipments and sales.” In the first six months of the year, sales were significantly higher than the Galaxy S23 series.
According to analysts, around 35 million units are expected to be sold, while the Galaxy S23 series sold around 31 million units during the same period. It’s nowhere near Apple standards, but it looks pretty good for Samsung’s premium models.
