- A beta firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 looks set to begin testing for Android 13 soon.

Android 13 is currently in third beta for Google’s Pixel phones. However, there is talk that a beta for the OS may soon be available for the Samsung Galaxy S22 family of smartphones.

According to Tizenhelp, It has seen beta firmware for Galaxy S22 series in South Korea. The firmware beta with the user number of S906NKSU2ZVF6 is for Android 13 Beta, which is also for the company’s own One UI 5.0 skin. The story goes that the presence of the firmware could mean that beta testing for the Galaxy S22 Android 13 update could begin in South Korea and possibly other parts of the world, as early as July 2022.
While many new additions and improvements to Android 13 have been released, Samsung’s One UI 5.0 wasn’t much in the way of news. Hopefully, we will get some specific information about the new skin features of that phone soon. The Galaxy S22 phones will get the first crack on Android 13 Beta, it is expected that other high end Samsung phones will be allowed to enter the beta testing program in the coming weeks and months.
