So far there are few monitors on the market with Thunderbolt 4 support. With the ViewFinity S8UT, Samsung has now introduced a new model that has two such connections. It can be used, among other things, to connect other Thunderbolt accessories, which means, for example, a Second monitor Can be directly connected to Viewfinity. It is also possible to charge a notebook with up to 90 watts through the monitor. In addition, S8UT can use a general HDMI 2.2 port Stay connected.
Additional features include a height-adjustable stand with pivot function and two integrated speakers. It is not yet known when Viewfinity S8UT will appear. Samsung has yet to comment on pricing. The similarly equipped ViewFinity S80PB, which however lacks a Thunderbolt port, is currently priced at Around 566 euros (buy here).
