It is likely that Samsung will have to do without its own processor in its Galaxy S23 smartphones next year. If you judge it really hard, the last piece of hardware flies, which has often gotten a bad reputation in recent years.
Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala made an exciting statement for the coming spring. Looking at his own business, he says Samsung flagships will be 100 percent, not just 75 percent, on Qualcomm’s books in the coming year.
This means nothing different from the Galaxy S23 series equipped with 100 percent Qualcomm processors. So Exynos chips are off the table, at least for this generation of Samsung phones. Of course, this may not be permanent, but at least it seems to apply to the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra.
