It’s time for the first review Lords of the Fallen! The game will be released on the Xbox series
We hoped to bring you our own review Lords of the Fallen Here at Pure Xbox, unfortunately we don’t have access to the Xbox version yet and we don’t think it’s fair to judge based on the PC version alone.
Anyway, here’s what some other media outlets have to say about Lords of the Fallen so far:
“Almost a decade after the release of the original Lords of the Fallen, CI Games and Hexworks deliver a reboot that exceeds all expectations. With responsive, precise and challenging combat, innovative twists, astral dark rendering and more, it’s one of the best games out there.” .The most Soulslike game I have ever played.
IGN (8/10)
“Lords of the Fallen is a beautiful, vivid thriller with an interesting, dual-reality premise, though its frailties and weak bosses ruin the party.”
“Lords of the Fallen is an exciting type of Souls game. While many others aim to improve upon the formula, Lords of the Fallen strives to innovate. It certainly has its own issues, such as lack of sound and repetitive enemy types and combat that could be tightened up a bit. However, when the game sinks its claws into you with its exciting dual-world mechanics, you won’t be able to get enough of it.
“A beautiful world, two worlds with different mechanics, excellent voice acting, and combat that feels good if not complicated by enemies and artificial challenges form a solid foundation. But Lords of the Fallen fails to impress beyond that and instead becomes increasingly frustrating.” .
“Lords of the Fallen from Software lacks charm and is let down by clichés and performance issues.”
Reviews seem to be somewhat mixed so far Metacritic Ultimately, the average may be between 65 and 85. There are many high scores, but not many good ones!
If you want to try out Lords of the Fallen for yourself, you can pre-order it now from the Xbox Store ahead of its Thursday release. Note that this is a current-gen exclusive – so it definitely won’t be coming to Xbox One.
