SWIT has announced MINO-S140 140Wh pocket V-mounted battery Which is a small, lightweight, flight-safe solution for anyone with a V-Lock battery powered.
The MINO-S140 has 8 high power cells with 140Wh / 9.7Ah high power and supports a 150W / 12A constant high load output which makes it suitable for high power draw camera and some light power.
The battery weighs 713g / 1.75 lbs and has a physical dimensions of 105 × 79 × 55.5mm. It is designed in such a way that the size nicely compliments the red V-RAPTOR
The battery has a D-Tap 150W / 12A high load (support charging input), a USB-A 5V / 2A output and a USB-C input / output which I will discuss in a minute.
The MINO-S140 has a 65W USB-C socket that you can use to charge accessories, tablets, laptops and other devices.
You can use the same USB-C as a 48W (PD 20V 2.4A) input so that you can fully charge the battery from empty in about 3.5 hours. Being able to charge the battery via USB-C means you don’t have to carry a V-Lock charger.
Key features
- 140Wh / 9.7Ah high power
- 150W / 12A constant high load
- 1x D-tap output and charging input
- 1x USB-A 5V / 2A output
- 1x USB-C 48W input and 65W output
- 4-step LED power indicator

The battery provides 43% more power than the SWIT 98Wh pocket V-mounted battery. 140Wh is a good power because as I said before, it is still within the safe range of flight for boarding.
MINO-S140 uses wire-free internal technology. All Cell, D-Tap, USB-A, USB-C, and Power Indicator devices are soldered directly to PCB, so there is no connector. This is done to reduce internal resistance and make the circuit stable, safe and reliable.
Price and availability
Retail for SWIT MINO-S140 349 USD And it is now available for pre-order.
Competition
This size and capacity includes very few batteries, including USB-C. The only ones that I can think off the top of my head Fxlion Nano Three Ultracompact V-Mount Battery (150Wh) 399 USD And Kinefinity KineBAT 150 V-Mount Battery (145Wh) $ 399 USD.
Other competitions come in the form of batteries BlueShape Granite Mini 14.4V 140Wh V-Mount Li-ion Battery ($ 497 USD)And Anton Bauer Titan Micro 150V-mounted lithium-ion battery ($ 437 USD). Both of these batteries are more expensive and neither has USB-C input / output.
