Something that makes the Evangelion franchise special is its constant in terms of battles between giant creatures against robots that fans of the anime world already know very well. And now, it’s been mentioned that this universe might have some connection to Godzilla, after all the reptile is a giant monster that would easily fight Evas. This all came to light a few days ago when Godzilla challenged Evangelion to battle. So much for a pachinko machine. One of his latest teasers goes so far as to say that the world of Evangelion is the same one that welcomed Godzilla long ago. So it wouldn’t be strange to see a crossover that goes further in anime form.
