Honor Magic V2 Specifications
The Honor Magic V2 features a thinner (10.1mm) and lighter (231g) design, nearly foldable internal display, as well as external and internal displays. The cover display is even brighter at 2,500 nits. Both display pens are compatible. The foldable phone has the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. However, the phone does not have an IPX8 water resistance rating.
The Magic V2 features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera with autofocus, and a 20MP telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom. It has a 16-megapixel front camera, but it can’t record 4K video at 60 frames per second like the Galaxy Z Fold 5. It can’t even record 8K video with the main camera. Its connectivity features are the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 except for UWB.
The foldable Honor phone has a significantly larger 5,000 mAh battery that can charge at 66 watts. Despite all these advantages, Samsung might have the last laugh if the Honor is delayed in its launch due to better brand awareness, water resistance and better support for software updates.
