(Pocket-Lint) – The NHS app in the UK is set to receive some major upgrades over the next two years, according to a new government announcement, at least in the UK, with the final addition of video advice to the app.
Clearly the government aims to have 75 percent of people using the app by March 2024, currently less than 50 percent of those installed on their smartphones.
The first major milestone is set in March 2023, when the government wants the app to help people book vaccines directly, get health alerts about prescriptions and more, get more messages from their GP, manage and manage hospital appointments and access them digitally. Gives. Record
A year later, in March 2024, the app will be able to offer face-to-face video advice that you can book, a major upgrade compared to its current capabilities.
This announcement comes as a statement about travel directions for the app, you can hang specific dates outside of these two annual targets, so we don’t know when each feature may arrive.
Once the feature is ready it will in many cases rely on individual GP surgery and the ability to adapt to hospital changes rather than being launched overnight across the country.
