Two years after its launch, the PS5 is finally meeting user expectations. Having announced a few months ago that Sony would improve production and distribution of the console, this piece of hardware managed to top sales in the US in September. According to The NPD Ground, an organization responsible for sharing data on hardware and software sales in the United States, PlayStation has managed to position itself first in unit sales and revenue generation in the country. US NPD Hardware – The Nintendo Switch ranks second in unit sales among hardware platforms for the month, while the Xbox series ranks second in dollar sales. — Mat Piscatella (@MatPiscatella) October 21, 2022 For its part, the Nintendo Switch ranked second in unit sales, while the Xbox Series X|S ranked second in revenue generation. This is the second time in a row that this has happened in the US market, and considering the PS5’s distribution improvements, we don’t see the last time.
