The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom It continues to enthrall players even months after its release with its massive Hyrule filled with creativity and careful design… so subtle, in fact, that the creators have clearly stated that they cannot add or repeat in any way.
Speaking to The Telegraph about the game’s world design, director Hidemaro Fujibayashi and producer Eiji Aonuma ended the interview by saying that the game will not feature any downloadable content (DLC) and that we will never see this version of Hyrule again in any context.
“Did Tears of the kingdomwe have been able to implement all our ideas towards development,” said Anuma. “I think many players have already finished the original game, but this time we are not making any. DLC. We, as a development team, hope you continue to enjoy this vast land of Hyrule.”
It’s hard to even consider the possibility that Aonuma and company didn’t include every possible idea in this version of Hyrule, and Tears of the kingdom Not an unequivocal success. We imagine that in this game and in Breath of the WildPeople would explore the vast region of Hyrule for decades to come.

Editor’s note: Personally I prefer that games don’t have DLC unless they come up with something completely new or expand it. Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare o Fanton Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077.
