One of the most anticipated movies of 2025 for MCU fans is Thunderbolts*. This film will not only give us a chance to see a team made up of some of the villains of this cinematic universe, but it will also be the introduction of one of the strongest characters in the comics, as he is able to defeat. In Thunderbolts* to the Hulk, Sentry will make his MCU debut under Lewis Pullman. The character is a superhero created by Paul Jenkins and Jay Lee and first appeared in the 2000 Marvel Knights miniseries. Inside, he holds the power of a million exploding suns. This power was derived from an experimental serum that included a special ingredient used in Weapon X Super Soldier, however, Sentry’s psyche is fragile and his mental instability is his greatest weakness. The hero also has within him, for this reason, a dark alter ego called The Void, a brutal entity that represents all his fears and negative emotions and uses his powers in even more brutal ways. These powers are what put the Sentry in Marvel history. Notably, in “Sentry #3”, The Void fights the Hulk and subdues Banner so brutally that he breaks all of his bones. This makes it clear that this hero is something that can do a lot of good, but represents a danger. Thunderbolts* hits theaters on May 2, 2025, so it will be interesting to see how Sentry is adapted to the big screen. On a related note, it will be Storm’s actress in the MCU. Likewise, the most anticipated films of this year.
