With Twitter, the developer wants to expand its ties with the community The resumption of its ‘chirp’ conferenceWhich brings together Developers and members of the Twitter team discuss the latest initiatives, share insights and answer key technical questions.
Explained by Twitter:
“The Chirop Developer Conference is a celebration of innovation developers bringing to Twitter the opportunities that await, and some surprises.”
The conference, to be held on November 16, will include keynote sessions, publications and community engagement initiatives with both IRL (in San Francisco) and online content throughout the day.
The relaunch will also see Twitter hold it Chiropractic Developer ChallengeWhere developers are invited to submit their most interesting, creative and innovative use of Twitter’s API.
Prizes over $ 520k will be awarded in three categories:
- Content Discovery App
- Conversation security tools
- Public Good Apps
This could help Twitter find new uses and development opportunities beyond the reach of its own team.
Although whether Twitter will be able to develop them will largely depend on who is responsible, Elon Musk is still in the process of buying the app (probably).
As head of the mask, major changes are expected in Twitter’s roadmap, which will see the various elements re-prioritized according to the mask’s plan. This may mean that such development initiatives are gaining more traction, or that they may be scrapped altogether – but either way, it makes sense for Twitter to build a relationship with the Dave community in order to find a better way for the app.
For the average user, this doesn’t mean much right now, but it could provide new inspiration for Twitter’s next big update and addition.
Twitter leads to real-time engagement and interaction, which provides huge potential for insights, if it can be used, and possibly, will be the focal point of a whole new way of viewing chirping conference tweets.
