(Pocket-Lint) – Twitter seems to be working on a new feature that allows users to share tweets with a specific group of friends instead of the whole world.
Basically, it’s the same thing as Instagram’s ‘Close Friends’ feature, so if you’re an Instagram user, you’re probably familiar.
Last July, Twitter began teasing a feature that was referred to as a “trusted friend” at the time.
Over time we learned that the feature could be called Twitter Flock.
Alessandro Paluji is keeping an eye on developments, and Twitter seems to have made great strides in the project.
#Twitter It continues to work on Twitter Flock, adding an explanation of how it works

Alessandro’s Twitter thread gave us a good idea of how the feature might work.
This explains why you can add up to 150 members to your flock, then only these users will be able to view or reply to the selected tweets sent to your flock.
If you later decide to remove someone from Flock, you can do so at any time and that user will not be notified.
A swarm of tweets sent with A label Which reads “You can see this tweet because the author added you to their flow.”
So, it will be very easy to differentiate between regular tweets and tweets made only for close friends
At the moment it’s not clear if the feature will reach regular Twitter users, but we’ll imagine that it won’t take long for Twitter Blue subscribers to take it in stride.
