With its new Pro, Xiaomi has gone one step further. There’s more to it than the regular Xiaomi 13, which is already very well equipped. Xiaomi 13 Pro has now been launched in China, it is the flagship smartphone of 2023.
However, we don’t know at this point when the new device will be available for purchase from us. And not what it costs. But the experience of the last few years shows that Xiaomi no longer wants and cannot be “cheap”. So expect the usual high end prices.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch curved display, so it’s significantly larger. Also, it supports LTPO and can go from 120Hz to 1Hz, which helps battery life. The 4,820 mAh battery in this case charges up to 120 watts with a cable and up to 50 watts wirelessly.

There was already a lot of talk about the camera. The latest Sony IMX989 sensor, which is 1 inch in size, is used for the 50 MP main camera. It doesn’t happen often, but it will likely become standard in the 2023 flagship generation. Such a large sensor absorbs a lot of light.
There is also a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 115-degree field of view. The zoom camera, which has a movable lens, is brand new. It masters macro focus up to 10cm and offers a 3.2x optical zoom. Up to 70x zoom is possible thanks to digital support.
