Xiaomi is apparently working on a new gaming notebook that will come with decent hardware. Among other things, an Intel Core i9-14900HX will be used, which has not yet been officially presented.
As is well known, Xiaomi doesn’t just make smartphones: the Chinese manufacturer now produces a variety of gadgets, scooters, monitors, and the first car is about to be launched on the market. Notebooks are also part of the company’s portfolio. Xiaomi may soon bring a new gaming notebook to the market which will at least be equipped with a powerful CPU. The Intel Core i9-14900HX reaches around 5.6 GHz
Accordingly, Xiaomi will release two versions of the notebook with different Intel Core processors installed. However, both models should have 16 GB DDR5 RAM with 5,586 MT/s. There is a variant with the first device Intel Core i9-14900HX, which has 24 cores and 32 threads. According to the entry, the chip’s performance cores can clock up to 5,586 MHz. The CPU apparently achieved 2,701 points in single-core, while 15,586 points were achieved in multi-core. This means that the results are slightly worse than the i9-13900HX.
First entry for the i5-14500HX
The second model is again based on this Intel Core i5-14500HX, which is a previously unreleased processor. If you believe the entry, we can expect 14 cores, 20 threads and a clock speed of 2.79 GHz (base) or 4,888 MHz (boost). The mobile processor scores 2,207 points (single-core) and 8,708 points (multi-core).
Nothing is known about the additional features of the notebook yet. Also, it is not clear if the devices will be made in Germany as well. However, a release in Europe seems unlikely.
