ZHIYUN has announced FIVERAY FR100C, A portable LED light stick. Now, ZHIYUN claims that the FIVERAY FR100C is 5x brighter than other options on the market, but they haven’t specified what those options are.
The FR100C is claimed to be capable of producing up to 1907 lux at a distance of 1m, although it is at 4000K, not 5600K. The output at 6200K is half of what is at 4000K. The fixture draws 100W which is a lot for a small sized light.
The light has 100 dimming steps, an ergonomic control wheel and an inbuilt status display.
The light weighs only 920 grams and has a standard 20-20 mounting screw hole at its base.
