Hello, PlayStation Blog! We’re glad to announce that the award-winning Open World Puzzle titled A Monster’s Expedition is now available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In A Monster’s Expedition, you take on the role of a title monster and explore an archipelago of islands. You’ll explore island-to-island tree-cutting, puzzle-solving, and ridiculous museums of human land, created by monsters with very vague knowledge about mankind.
We’re thrilled to bring A Monster’s Expedition to the PlayStation, especially following the success of our previous title, Bonfire Peaks. PlayStation versions include all the updates released to date, including the huge Museum Expansion update and the new hint update!
The hint update was created to allow new players to enjoy the experience quietly without the hassle of getting stuck and at the same time, to give experienced players the possibility to complete the title 100% more easily. Players can access the settings menu to activate hints that indicate where to go, how to cross each island, and even how to track friends, the deepest and most hidden privacy of the game. The hint system is fully customizable and will allow you to enjoy the game as you see fit!
Your “Eureka!” We’ve included tips to help you find a solution or make sure you’re on the right track without losing sight of the moment. To achieve this, we’ll show you where to put the logs to get to the next island. Often, it is enough to find a solution, see the final result and move backwards. And for friends, the hardest challenge is deciding where to start the search: highlighting the islands for exploring tips more deeply, then finding the rest is up to you.
Moreover, after the success of introducing the PlayStation 5 Activity Card at Bonfire Pix, we have not failed to introduce them to this Monster campaign. Bringing this functionality to an open world title was a real challenge, but we are happy with the end result. During the first game, the Activity tabs take on the role of “Progress Guide”, highlighting key points and helping you reach credits. When the main adventure of A Monster’s Expedition is over, you will have many more hours of gameplay in front of you, so we have decided that by this time the Activity tabs will be on the museum’s list of 160 exhibits.
Thanks for the hint updates, which will guide you through the various exhibits, help you with each puzzle and show you where to find exhibits not yet discovered, and thanks to the Activity tabs, which allow you to monitor your progress in each region. Discover Game World and the exhibition names that have not yet arrived, the PlayStation 5 version of A Monster’s Expedition offers a wide range of features for a complete, fluid and smooth experience of all the content that this title offers.
We hope you enjoy A Monster’s Expedition – the joy of creating this game and the end result of over ten years of puzzle design experience. Old and new players, enjoy this game and find out for yourself why it is so popular.
