Are you ready to upload your consciousness to the cloud? Developer Mica Team and publisher Sunborn Network Technology are pleased to announce the launch of Neural Cloud for iOS and Android mobile devices today. A new chapter in the Girls Frontline universe, Neural Cloud offers a thought-provoking story about the ethics of artificial intelligence and where consciousness goes when the lights go out. Featuring a gritty sci-fi cyberpunk aesthetic, Neural Cloud features an original theme song by acclaimed synth-pop musician Owl City, which is streaming music everywhere today.
Neural Cloud presents a brand new single from acclaimed indie synth pop artist Owl City, who rose to fame with the 2009 hit Fireflies. Four years later, Owl City, led by Adam Young, returns with the original theme of the game, titled “Up to the Clouds”. Calm, melodic and optimistic, Up to the Cloud perfectly aligns with the ongoing story players will experience in the neural cloud.
The lyrical concept of Up to the Cloud follows Owl City, an in-game character who has uploaded himself to a “neural cloud” as an artificial consciousness. The song tells the story of trying to escape the shackles of cyberspace and the emotional awakening that comes with it. The game’s theme, which focuses on the complex relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, comes through beautifully in Up to the Cloud’s inspiring narrative.
