We get closer to release Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope, the French company is in charge of answering some of the questions fans have about the game. One user in particular had a question that only confused the masses, since I wanted to know if a Ubisoft account will be required to access the titleAnd the answer wasn’t entirely clear.
Via Twitter, a user asked if a Ubisoft Connect account would be required to enjoy this sequel. Basically, The French company’s official support account noted that this would be the case. What he mentions is:
“To play Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope you need to link your Ubisoft account to your Nintendo account or, if you don’t have a Ubisoft account, create one. It won’t take long and trust me, it will be worth it!
As expected, this was not liked by fans, who did not like the idea of creating a separate account to enjoy this installment. However, Ubisoft has issued another official statement, where it clarified You will not need a Ubisoft Connect profile to play Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope. It was mentioned:
“Players do not need a Ubisoft Connect account to play Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, contrary to what was incorrectly stated in a previous Ubisoft support tweet.”
In this way, it is clear that you can enjoy Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Just like you did with the main title. We remind you that This installment will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 20, 2022. On a related topic, here you can check out the new gameplay of this title. Likewise, Rayman will be coming as DLC to this installment in the future.
Editor’s note:
Creating a Ubisoft Connect account isn’t complicated. However, I can also understand anyone who doesn’t want to use another profile, especially considering that when Bethesda implemented the same concept with the Doom games, at the end of the day more problems arose.
