LG has always been a pioneer in screens and is often mistakenly overshadowed by Samsung. This also applies to their Android phones, which LG abandoned a few years ago. With that, a very exciting project has died, which we can see today in a new video.
A prototype of LG’s rollable Android phone appears to have resurfaced. Instead of folding the phone’s large display, this device actually rolls it. You pull the device sideways at the touch of a button and the display unrolls. If you close it, it will roll up.
The device was really far away and worked very well in video. It just doesn’t appear. Take a look at the video, a damn exciting project has died.
