Angular design with triangular shape
With the MEG Prospect 700R, MSI announced a new large tower case with a boasting 80 liter volume. The case relies on an angular and eye-catching design, which is rounded off by its own touch display.
Its housing portfolio MSI will grow soon: with MEG Prospect 700R The manufacturer presents a new case that wants to stand out from the crowd. For this, MSI relies on a rather angular design, made up of several triangular shapes. The Mesh-front, on which the triangle must be found, should ensure adequate supply of fresh air. There are already three lit up here 140 mm fan. Another can be found at Stern. A total of up to ten 120mm fans can be installed.
A special feature of the Prospect 700R is this Integrated IPS display in the front row. It can be used to control six fans at the same time. It is also possible to display weather information, time or temperature values. Optionally, small graphics can be shown on the display.
Inside, offers space for cases E-ATX-Mainboard As well as for up to 400mm long graphics card. If desired, the GPUs can even be mounted vertically, although this requires an additional riser cable. The maximum height of the CPU cooler should not exceed 185 mm. Alternatively, it is possible to install up to two 360 mm radiators. The option to choose from three different mainboard panels is interesting. MSI provides a simple cable cover, a cover for the E-ATX board and one for the extra fan.
It is currently unknown when the MSI MEG Prospect 700R will be released. The manufacturer has not yet commented on the cost. However, it is conceivable that the price is beyond the 200 euro mark.
