Instagram Little by little, it is losing the identity by which it was initially identified, thanks to the fact that the platform has dedicated itself to imitating what the competition is doing. This is what we understand tick tockWith reels of content creators, and it seems they want to continue borrowing ideas, but now BeReal.
One of the ideas that this platform is trying to innovate is taking photos with the front and rear cameras at the same time and they invite this action to be played at certain times of the day. As its tagline in the title states, it seeks to bring out the true self of people rather than an hour-long production.
In an apparent attempt to copy the popular app BeReal, Instagram is introducing its own feature (called ‘Dual’) to take disappearing photos using the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

This method of photographing is copied as is Instagram, only that the purpose is slightly different, because at no point do they tell you at what moment the picture should be taken. In contrast, photos can only be taken if the user chooses, taking away the fun factor BeReal implemented, and made it another feature on the stack.
It should be noted that this option is called double In its application meta, and some users can already use it to see how it works and in what environment it performs best. Not everyone is able to give it the first appearance, because it will come slowly. Thus, another idea that Instagram takes from a patent with a small audience.
