Homelander is a fictional character appearing in the comic book and television series “The Boys”. Created by Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson, Homelander is one of the main antagonists of the series.
In “The Boys”, the Homelanders are a group of corporate superheroes who are treated like celebrities and are the leaders and most powerful members of the Seven, protecting the interests of Vought International Corporation. Homelander has various superhuman abilities, such as super strength, flight, X-ray vision, and heat vision, making him one of the world’s most powerful heroes.
Despite his public image as a symbol of justice and protection, Homelander is actually a narcissistic and manipulative sociopath who cares primarily about his own fame and power. Throughout the series, several darker aspects of his personality are revealed, including his lack of empathy for others and his willingness to commit violent acts to achieve his goals.
