Practical: automatic brightness adjustment

Samsung Viewfinity S8UP’s screen brightness automatically adjusts to the environment at four different levels. A sensor detects ambient light and then chooses between dark, normal, bright or very bright. This means that you no longer have to set your screen brightness manually, but can easily hand over this task to the device. According to the data sheet, the 27-inch model achieves up to 400 nits, and the 32-inch version should do even that. Provide up to 600 nits (but both in HDR mode).

of Eye saver mode and flicker free technology The aim is to ensure that the image is easy on the eyes. Eye saver mode reduces the emission of blue light, which causes special stress on the retina of our eyes. Flicker Free technology eliminates monitor flicker, so that eyes tire more slowly when looking at the screen for long periods of time.

Sustainability in focus

Apart from display quality, durability is a priority for Samsung. Part of the material used is closed Recycled plastic, which is made from ocean plastic waste. Samsung intends to increase the proportion of this recycled plastic over time. A low pixel brightness through “Eco Savings Plus” technology reduces the Viewfinity S8UP’s power consumption by up to ten percent.
